Multiple sources have confirmed to Pocket-lint that Vodafone will be getting the UK exclusive for the new touchscreen BlackBerry: the Storm.

It is not known exactly when the device will be available yet, but the fact that Vodafone is already pushing it suggests it could hit stores in time for the Christmas market. RIM has so far remained tight-lipped over the device, and is still yet to officially announce it.

General specification of Blackberry Storm is:

Memory : 128 MB RAM memory, 1 GB eMMC

Weight (battery included) : 155g

Expandable Memory : MicroSD located under battery door cover

Camera : 3.2.0 MP camera, Flash, auto focus

User Interface : Intuitive Touch Screen with 360 × 480 resolution

Other: Virtual keypad with haptic feedback, 3G (both CDMA and GSM varieties will be available)
