Nokia 1661 - Cheap but Reliable !

Nokia 1661 is the name that was pulling my attention for the last few months. The reason for this attraction was the reliability which this device is famous for. Actually, the phone is a solid bar like handset with basic and user friendly features. The device is not the hi-fi sounding and has just the most basic features which any person can think of. It is ideal, just for those who want to primarily make and receive calls. The screen of this gadget is 1.6 inches in size and has almost sixteen thousand colours used in its display. The weight of this mobile reaches a maximum of only eighty two grams including the fitted battery which seems not to be very high!
The bar shaped phone has a measurement of 13.5 mm deep, 45 mm wide and 108 mm tall and with these measurements, it perfectly fits in the users’ hand. It has important features like the FM Radio which keeps me entertained and gives me a thrill of pleasured moments. Voice recording function supported by Nokia 1661 enables me to record my memorable moments and keep them in the phone’s built-in memory. These sounds can be recorded in the FR, EFR, HR and AMR sound formats so there’s a lot of options available. The user can also enjoy the polyphonic ringtones available in the phone’s internal memory.
There is a messaging feature in the Nokia mobile phones which help me communicate with other SMS compatible mobile phones. Upto two hundred and fifty messages can be stored in the phone’s internal memory. Also there is a storage space for upto five hundred contact entries in the device. The speed dial feature of this handset enables the user to make calls at high speed just by pressing a single digit. Nokia 1661 has a loudspeaker that helps the user to talk while doing some other work. or, in other words, he can make calls hands-free! More is provided in this device in the form of calender and reminder which both can be used to plan one’s future time better. Speaking clock to hear time, alarm to get up early and spreadsheet to calculate my expenses are the petty looking but really important features enabled in this basic phone.
