Although the association of telephone services and broadband is well known among the people as the most popular `bundled´ package, almost most of the broadband companies have extended their offers to merge other attractive services into their lucrative deals. As a matter of fact this permits the customers to grab a huge share of various markets, that increases profitability and affordability while offering the best deals for their revered consumers. A new epoch of the lucrative bundled packages — broadband, TV, phone and mobile

Expanding beyond phone and broadband packages is relatively not a very new conception, the NTL:Telewest (now Virgin Media) has come up with the dial up internet, TV and phone in a product bundle stretching for more than over 10 years. It is just recently that with the emergence of tempting alternative bundled packages the potential consumers have rigorously become aware of the available benefits which are offered along with these services altogether.

Actually the market exploded during the late 2006 when Sky ventured the fray by offering attractive packages which efficiently combine broadband, television and phone. As various top leading brands are available in the market these attractive bundled offers have become extremely popular. This was further bettered by BT launching an efficient on-demand TV package which is popularly called BT Vision.

Earlier during 2007 the bundled package took a new turn when NTL:Telewest, Virgin mobile and Virgin.net and re-branded to form the Virgin Media, furthermore at the same time in order to become the first renowned broadband company to provide `quad play´ – broadband with television, mobile phone and phone have been merged.

Now the question arises whether these deals are logically better than getting out contracts on products separately? As a matter of fact, the main key to secure any good deal would be comparing the vast array of offers which have been designed to offer ultimate satisfaction to the users. However, these offers should not obviously restrict you to consider the individual or bundled products.

Moreover, one can save huge chunks of money by availing the benefits of these combined services and packages. As the prices are comparatively very low the prime concern for most of the customers would be to find an appropriate broadband service provider which delivers quality customer service at very affordable prices. The main advantage of merging these quality services together is that you would face less problem, but however bundling at times can impair the quality of service because if one part of your bundled product isn´t as good as another bundled part, or if you don´t use it you would still be forced to pay for it.

The gaining popularity of some of these lucrative deals has led to certain negative press for the quality of customer service which has been offered by some service providers are not quite impressive, which we would analyse in part five.
